If I could paint a picture of the most perfect sisterhood in the world, you would see the three Sampson sister standing side-by-side. Every quote, verse, or book that’s ever been written hardly touches on the depths of our love for each other. It was one of those ‘weird’ quirks our husbands knew upfront what they were singing up for when dating us! We feel extremely blessed by this unbreakable bond. What a gift we have been given to care so deeply for one another. But friends, we come to you with the most heartbreaking news, to-date, that we have experienced as a family. On April 6th our precious sister Amanda, at the age of 34 years young, was diagnosed with Stage 2 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma – grade 3 (breast cancer). Cancer is just a scary word in general with so many twist and turns. We’ve heard the 1 in 8 statistics, we’ve seen the pink ribbons, but we’ve never thought this could happen to us.
Like sisters do, we’ve hunkered down & banned together, determined to fight this with the best attitude that we can! But truthfully, this is bigger than just us and we need your help. On May 10th Amanda will undergo surgery to remove her tumor and begin treatment. Please help us relieve the financial burden her family will face while she is out of work without short term disability coverage. They have already begun to accrue medical expenses from almost a dozen doctor visits in the 2 short weeks since diagnosis. There are still countless visits and bills to come. As we prepare for her upcoming surgery, I would love more than anything to rally around her as a community of supporters. Help us to lift her financial worries to better prepare her for the journey ahead.

-Amanda & her family: husband John is a high school Art teacher & biggest supporter, daughter Rylie just celebrated her Sweet 16, & daughter Lily will turn 6 just 5 days after Amanda’s surgery.
-That the surgery would have ‘best case’ results with no radiation or chemo needed
