Good Times, Bad Moon is a short film that follows an outcast teenager who attends his first roller disco and is quickly targeted by the local bullies. Little did they know Kal has an agenda of his own and they are on the menu.
Bad Moon is written and directed by Kristian Taylor-Wood and has many of Sydney’s finest creatives collaborating on the project. It’s going to be a beautifully atmospheric and nostalgic film that is a love letter to all things roller-skating… with possibly a hint of horror (we don’t want to give too much away).
Good Times, Bad Moon is an extremely ambitious short film, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Most of our cast and crew are working for free as they strongly believe in this project, but we still have many unavoidable costs.
We are asking for at least AUD$20,000 to help realise our dream and produce this film. It's hard to ask people for money during such unprecedented times, but your contribution would mean everything to us.
Our film won’t change the world, but it will definitely put smiles on faces. It could also massively help our careers in a time when our industry has been one of the hardest hit by this twat of a pandemic.
With donations over AUD$100, we will credit you in the film with a big fat thank you. For donations over AUD$250 you will receive an incredibly cool “Good Times, Bad Moon” T-shirt.
