GOOD GIRLS GO TO HEAVEN: Bisexual Coming of Age Short Film

The Story
When Billie comes out as bisexual, she and her best friends travel to London in pursuit of their own queer odyssey. Underage and over-excited, needless to say, it doesn't quite go to plan...

The Vision
GOOD GIRLS GO TO HEAVEN is a boundless and boundariless exploration of sexuality. A genre-bending film that speaks to the fluidity of queer youth. Our visual world creates a space for ‘in-between’ identities: women and girls who don’t know who they are, but are ready to fuck around and find out.

As such, we present this coming-of-age and coming-out story in the traditionally masculine visual world of the ‘boy movie’. A road-movie-on-foot that combines the grandeur of the American dream with the grit of British kitchen sink classics, set against the dusky blue of teenage memories. It’s just late enough to be an adult, but it’s August, so there’s still colour in the sky.

Possibility, not danger.

The Mission
This film will go toe to toe with cinema’s most iconic stories of teenage angst and anarchy, and these girls will be as brash, as brilliant, and sometimes as brutal, as the best of their male counterparts. A piece on sexuality and identity, our chaotic little film will do all it can to jump over (if not break down) any barriers that stand in its way.

We see this as a hopeful, emboldening symbol for young, queer people growing up today to feel seen or inspired by. We hope this film can be part of the rich cinematic tapestry that paints characters who have a loud and proud future.

Supporting this film means supporting LGBTQ+ and ally creatives, and to ultimately see the premiere of Good Girls Go to Heaven at festivals and beyond in 2026.
