Hello! My name is Jana and I am raising money for my best friend’s top surgery.
They are a trans* person and struggle with body dysphoria. As an ally, I want to do my best to help them feel their best — because they truly deserve it.
✦ All money will go directly to the surgery costs, medication, and recovery process.
✦ They will also need time to heal, and I would love for them to feel as safe and comfortable as possible.
Killian is a trans masc person, exploring and defining his identity for more than three years.
What he says:
“Masectomy, aka full delete on my boobs, will greatly impact all aspects of my life. My dysphoria about my chest has been so bad for so long, I distanced myself from my body. Getting dressed every day and interacting with my body in various ways is such an uncomfortable experience, I got to a point where I just can’t care at all and can’t deal with it in any way — like trying to bind. I can’t comfortably do any physical activity like running, or even stretching.
✦ Since masectomy is covered by insurance only after being in care of a sexologist for more than two years and after at least a year of taking testosterone (which I do not consider taking in the near future), I have no other option than to self-fund the surgery.”
★ Cost breakdown:
→ Surgery itself: cca 2800 € – 3500 € (in worst case more than 4000 €)
→ Recovery (pain medication, comfort, food & rest for at least 3 weeks): cca 400 € – 600 €
→ Fee for a name change, new id and other documents- cca 200€
♥ Every contribution helps. Thank you so much for any support you can give. ♥
