The Gonzalez family was touched by tragedy on 09.08.2017 when Santanna, age 10, and Kadenz, age 7, were in a serious car accident. Kadenz passed away due to injuries at 5:00 AM central time on 09.09.2017. Santanna has survived the crash however, she likely has months of recovery ahead. Santanna suffers from: a broken pelvis/leg, bruised lung, spinal cord injury in conjunction with a spinal break, and she is currently (and possibly permanently) paralyzed from the chest down. It is suspected that the driver of the other vehicle was intoxicated as the vehicle crossed the grass median and struck the car that the girls were in.
No family should have to bury a child and watch another suffer in pain. All donations recieved will help pay for the funeral costs of Kadenz and the medical costs for Santanna.

All proceeds are being given to Nikkole and Efren Gonzalez, who are the Parents of Santanna and Kadenz. Shari Stevens is the beneficiary of this gofundme, Shari is Nikkole's mother and will be able to take on the responsibility of withdrawing money from the campaign and helping Nikkole with her personal business while the Gonzalez family focuses on Santanna.
