Hello, my name is Becca and I’m asking for everyone’s help at this time to try to get the Gonzalez family restarted. On Tuesday evening, I received a call from my friend, Lucy , notifying me she and her parents were forced to evacuate along with her siblings living in other areas of Altadena. Her parents, who are geriatric and suffer from medical conditions, were rushed out of their home as it set fire. They were left to watch as their family home of decades was engulfed in flames, leaving them nothing but endless memories and the clothes on their back. Thankfully their family is healthy and whole, but now they are struggling to gather daily necessities and other medical related supplies to care for the elderly parents. If you know Lucy, you know she’s a genuine and generous friend. She always opens her heart and doors to everyone and anyone and has always gone out of her way to help people in their time of need. She is a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend and it’s time for us to return the love to her family that she has always given to us. At this time I’m asking all my friends and family to donate whatever they can whether it be monetary, prayers, or even items you can part ways from. My goal is to help get Lucy’s family enough funding to find a safe place for her parents to live with the care that they need. These funds will also aid in gathering new daily necessities such as hygiene supplies, food, medications, clothing, blankets, temporary housing, and anything else they will need to start all over. I really appreciate anything you all do to help out at this time as I know it is a struggle for many.
