Gonzales Wine Company (GWC) is continuing to grow and thrive, but with the current economic climate, wine production has never been more expensive.
As a single mother and the sole Owner / Winemaker of GWC, this weighs heavily on my shoulders. To continue and increase production for the 2022 vintage, I’m asking for support. Supply chain issues, inflation, and the increased costs of labor in the vineyards makes it difficult for me as a small-production winemaker to grow my business. GWC is supported by direct-to-consumer sales and Wine Club members rather than investors, so it’s my community that keeps me going.
Here are the projected costs for 2022 wine production:
- Rent: $1,050/month
- Grapes: $11,052
- Glass: $1,759
- Corks: $630
- Labels: $1505
This doesn’t include the costs of maintaining my business, including insurance, marketing, shipping costs, etc. Any assistance towards these expenses is very much appreciated.
A heartfelt thank you for supporting a Latina-owned small business and winery!
