Hi Gonzales and surrounding Community. On February 18, our kids went down to the farm for their normal morning feedings and discovered two of our Lambs for SVF were deceased, one other badly injured. It was apparent that this was a malicious attack. A police report was made and it was confirmed after some investigation that an unknown person targeted these animals due to their calm demeanor, and inflicted these deadly injuries. Our kids are looking to raise money to purchase new animals and create a reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual responsible. (All money raised will go directly to the kids involved and a reasonable reward offer)
These kids have worked hard with these animals daily getting them ready for Salinas Valley Fair and we are heartbroken they had to walk in to such a tragic scene this morning.
