My sister, Katie Strong Vryheid tragically passed away on 8/03/23. She was the strongest, proudest, most patient woman I've ever known who was taken from us far too soon. Katie loved fierce and never held back.
She leaves behind her husband Rick Vryheid and four beautiful children; Madison Roney (18), Rex Vryheid (11), Allison Vryheid (9), and Cheyenne Vryheid (7).
Katie was a dispatcher for the Riverside County Sheriff's Office and then the Citrus Heights PD. She was a member of Bayside Adventure Christian Church.
She was an amazing devoted wife, mother and daughter of Linda Strong. She was a beautiful person and a true friend who will be dearly missed by all!
The family is in immediate need of funds for funeral and end of life expenses. Thank you in advance for your love and support to her family!
