On July 14, 2025, our family was devastated by a heartbreaking tragedy. My cousin’s wife, Michelle, a loving wife and mother of three, passed away shortly after giving birth to their third child. What should have been a joyful new chapter turned into unimaginable grief.

Their newborn baby is currently in the NICU, fighting every day with strength beyond their tiny size. Meanwhile, Gerald is doing everything he can to stay strong for his family—navigating the grief of losing his wife while caring for their 10-year-old and 15-year-old children, and supporting his newborn’s ongoing care.

This loss has left a massive hole in their family, emotionally and financially. As Gerald takes time away from work to care for his children and be present at the hospital, the expenses are piling up quickly—from funeral costs, to NICU bills, to basic living needs for three children now navigating life without their mother.

We are raising funds to support Gerald and his children during this incredibly difficult time.
