In Loving Memory of Evangeline

A devoted mother, cherished wife, inspiring teacher, and beloved friend.

Evangeline touched many lives—as a gentle and generous soul, a pillar of her community, and most of all, as a loving mother to three boys.

While on a long-awaited holiday in her hometown in the Philippines, Evangeline was looking forward to reconnecting with family and enjoying precious time with her husband (James) and sons. It was meant to be a joyful escape—a moment of rest, celebration, and togetherness.

After James briefly returned to Ireland for work, everything changed. What started as a simple headache spiralled into tragedy. Evangeline collapsed and went into a coma and was transported to St. Luke’s Medical Hospital in Bonifacio Global City—five hours from her hometown—where she was diagnosed with a brain aneurysm. Upon hearing the news, James had to immediately return to the Philippines to be by his wife’s side. While Evangeline was in a coma, days later, she suffered a stroke.

Her family was with her every step of the way. Across the globe, love and prayers poured in. Hope held firm. But in the early hours of 18 July 2025, Evangeline passed away—wrapped in love but taken far too soon.
