We never expect to face a tragedy so close to home. Yet the Luna family is grieving the heartbreaking loss of Ryan, who passed away at just 20 years old. His time with us was far too short, and he leaves behind a family who loved him deeply.
Ryan was a protector, a supporter, and a guiding presence in his family’s life. His mother, Liz, and his older sister, Desiree, find comfort in their faith and in the thought of him being reunited with his recently departed grandfather. While they are surrounded by a strong and caring community, the pain of this loss is immeasurable.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Ryan’s funeral and related expenses. During this incredibly difficult time, our goal is to ease the financial burden so Liz and Desiree can focus on grieving and healing.
Ryan’s love showed in the simplest, most meaningful ways. Liz and Desiree shared how he would call whenever they were out or heading home, asking, “Can you get me some cookies?” Of course they always did—and he would be there to greet them, ready to help carry things inside or lovingly annoy them, just as a son and younger brother would. These everyday moments are now cherished memories that reflect the deep bond they shared.
If you are able, any contribution—no matter the amount—will go directly toward supporting the family during this time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page is another meaningful way to help.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and compassion.
