GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN DANNY BORUNDA

As many of you now know, our brother, son, co-worker, and friend Danny Borunda, tragically passed away on eve of June 27, 2021 in Costa Mesa, CA.

Danny will always be remembered for his zest for life as well as his love, creativity, and positive energy. Danny was not only a 2X survivor of recent brain surgery. But a fighter for all things good, a gentleman, and a very bright light. Danny was always smiling, telling a cool story, and ready to help anyone out in anyway he could.

Danny was a local fixture in both Costa Mesa and Newport Beach where he worked as a very skilled, talented, and hardworking carpenter with his brother. He also moonlighted at the Harp Inn on 17th Street, when he had the time. Many of you will fondly remember him from the Harp Inn no doubt.

He is survived by many family and friends that are in in deep state of understandable shock. In particular, Danny is survived by love of his life and fiancée Andrea Ocampo. To that end, all of the funds generated from this GoFundMe page will go directly to assisting with Danny’s funeral arrangements and the on going living expenses for Andrea.
