‘Gone’ is a very special 10 minute short film three years in the making. It follows two teenage girls, Sam and Alice, navigating life after a deadly apocalypse as they search for Sam’s mother. The story shows the two girls struggling with friendship and hope in a seemingly hopeless world, something relatable to teenagers today. ‘Gone’ was written by Violet Dolejsi at 15 years old, and has gone through countless edits and changes, growing and maturing, improving in professionalism along side the writer. ‘Gone’ features an incredible cast and crew of passionate, young, award winning filmmakers. Recent graduates of Templeton Secondary School, (Adabelle Sproule, Quinn Arrowsmith) and members of its highly regarded after school film program ‘Dream Big Productions’ will be taking on important roles along side the director, (Violet Dolejsi), to make this dream of a film come true.

This film needs your help. As many of you will know, making takes time, drive, passion, and unfortunately, money . The money raised will go towards: permits, gear rentals, props, food, and the very high festival submission fees. This film is incredibly important to the young filmmakers who are so excited to make it a reality. Any contributions of any amounts would be so incredibly appreciated. This will help much more than you know! Thank you so much!
