As many of you know, my sister, Monica, has had Lyme Disease for the past 6 years.  It took doctors more than 3 years to figure out that Lyme was what she had.  She has spent her savings, and much, much more trying to find a successful treatment for this ravaging disease.  In a nutshell, Lyme Disease is supposedly caused by a tick bite, although Monica doesn't recall ever being bitten by a tick.  The bacteria has infected and invaded almost every part of her body - her muscles, her digestive system, her immune system, and primarily her neurological system.  Three years ago her symptoms of extreme fatigue and muscle spasms escalated and since then she has gone from full-time work to part-time work.   Recently though, things have gotten much worse.   Her muscles have very little strength, and not a moment goes by when she is not in pain, or has burning somewhere in her body.   She cannot concentrate for very long, having what is known as "Lyme brain." 

She has been in treatment in Scottsdale, AZ for the past 2 weeks, and will be for the next 8 weeks.  The treatments combine sky-high doses of vitamin C, amino acids, and ozone blood therapy (among other things) along with a relatively new insulin treatment to cause the bacteria to ingest more of the IV antibiotics.  She is also on a myriad of supplements and high protein.  She is to follow a strictly organic diet consisting of no gluten, corn, sugar, lactose, processed foods, oils, and many other things.   With the exception of some of the antibiotics, the treatments are not covered by insurance.  This treatment is something only the Lord can afford! 

Ultimately only our Lord can heal my sister, if it be His will.  She has embarked on this endeavor so that she knows, and my parents know that they have tried everything  possible.  And we would like you, as family and friends, to be able to help in any way you can.  I know that Monica would like all donations to be annonymous, if this is possible.
