"What can I do to help?"
"I don't know what to say, but I want to do something."

When word comes of a friend or colleague's passing, these are the common phrases that are echoed from family, close friends and work acquaintances alike. Sometimes we desperately want to help, but just don't know where or how. So we offer, but honestly, those dealing with sudden grief, really don't even know what they need. Food and well wishes come in droves in the short term, but as the weeks go by, and real needs are known, it becomes harder and harder to ask. 

John Golec's time on this earth ended just a little over a week after his symptoms revealed he was in his last days ... and just a few days after John and Brenda's 24th wedding anniversary.

Brenda and John have both been givers within their community, giving their time and talents to so many different organizations and groups. Countless people were the beneficiaries of their time and talents. Now, it really is time for *us* to step in and help the helpers.  

This fund has been set up to allow everyone, regardless of geography, to help Brenda take care of the needs and future expenses that she and the kids (Jake, Joey and Jenna) are faced with.
