We very much appreciate you taking the time to visit this page.

Who are we?

We are the 42 members of the 2025 MA in Children’s Book Illustration cohort at Goldsmiths, University of London. We come from all around the world, and a vast range of backgrounds. Some of us are parents; some are not. Some of us like drawing alone in silence; some prefer the chitchat of a studio. Some of us had been to London before September 2024; some had not. The range of backgrounds that we have brought to this MA is exemplative of the universality inherent to children’s literature, and its ability to transcend language, generation, media, and meaning.

From 11-13 July 2025, we will celebrate our hard work with a show held at Goldsmiths featuring our final work from the MA, with an opening celebration from 5-8pm the evening of 10 July. We hope that you will join us. If you are unable to make it to Southeast London, a virtual gallery website will go live that weekend for everyone around the world to access.

Let’s cut to the chase. What will all this money be spent on?

Your money will primarily go into the printing, production, and publicity costs essential to putting on an illustration degree show. This includes the printing of a catalog, which will be sent to publishers and distributed at the show, printing posters to publicize the events, and installation materials.
