Goldenloch-newton trout fishery

On Sunday the 20th September me and Bethany have decided we are going to do a 14 mile walk from the goldenloch to newton farm trout fishery, these were Stevens 2 favourite fisheries and we have decided we are going to raise the money for 2 causes, we want to raise money to put a memorial bench in Stevens honour out at Newton fishery I know steven would love it, it’s a place we never got round to going to together but everytime I go out there I feel so close to him again because the newton family have all been so kind and just taken me on like I’m one of them and I’m so thankful for them all, Steven was highly thought of and had so many good friends out there, any other money we raise we would like to donate to the Scottish ambulance service, I couldn’t be more thankful to the paramedics that I had here that day to talk me through everything that was going on and not once did they leave me alone one of them sat right by my side explaining everything to me, they done everything they could for Steven and everything they could for me and Stevens family, this made me think a lot about how these paramedics have to face these awful traumatic experiences everyday and they have to deliver that devastating news to so many people. It takes a strong person to be able to do that almost daily, I’ll always be hugely thankful to our ambulance service for the way they dealt with everything that day.
