Like many in California, we have been impacted by the widespread wildfires. After an already shortened season due to COVID-19 restrictions, we evacuated from the the Castle Rock (SQF Complex) fire on August 23rd.
Thanks to the help of dozens of friends and the support of the forest service all of our animals were saved however we lost much of our gear and many of our historical buildings including the main house and our saddle room.

While insurance will help with rebuilding, the evacuation expenses and loss of income threaten our ability to cover expenses during the recovery. In total, we have lost more than $150,000 dollars this year due to this fire in expenses and lost income. In the next few years we expect reduced business while we rebuild and wait on the forest to recover. As a result, we are seeking donations to help us get through this rough time. Donations will contribute to maintaining the animals with food, water and veterinary care until we are able to reopen.
