Golden Puppy with Entropion Needs Eye Surgery NOW

Hi, my name is Heather Wilson. I am a dog lover. Most of all I am totally in love with Golden Retrievers. I was made aware of two litter mates one male and one female have major health issues with their eyelids. It is called Entropion .They happen to be brother and sister to my puppy. I feel a connection and felt maybe I could help the new owner with this.

They were born October 9, 2024 and have been in a pretty small pen since they have been born. No one was willing to purchase these babies because of this eye issue .

Robin Gillis decided the.challenge was worth it and chose to bring them both home today. She had.been in touch with another rescue group who said they would gladly take the male. This probably saved both of their lives. Apparently euthanasia was in the cards for at least one of them.

Entropion is a condition in dogs that causes the eyelid to roll inward, rubbing the eye's surface. It's a common genetic abnormality that affects many dog breeds. It can be painful and lead to infections, ulcers, and scarring.

They both need surgery immediately , the breeder was unable to take care of them properly. Robin is a fellow golden lover

She went to seen them and decided she couldnt leave them and brought them both home, it was the first time they have been inside. The male puppy is in a wonderful foster home the the other rescue group, who is doing their own separate fundraising for just the male puppy. Not a GoFundMe, This GoFundMe is strictly for the female, unless she doesn't need as much as collected, in that case the extra will go to the male puppy. I believe the rescue group has said the same thing if they have excess and can help the female. If more is needed. They are both in very goods hands and will be well taken care of.

These babies were territied and really havent done any of the " puppy learning " they are going to need tons of love and physical " help" in all aspects, Robin is more than happy to take on the physical responsibility for her girl but needs some help with the financial side.Surgery is going to be very expensive, more so because the Entropion these puppies have is more severe than most . They require complex surgeries. Also, they need it IMMEDIATELY.
