Meet Bruce. Bruce is a happy, spirited 7 month old Golden Retriever, who lives in Chicago. Recently Bruce contracted Leptospirosis, a bacterial disease that affects the liver and kidneys. This illness has left him fighting for his life, and his loving family devastated.

Bruce is currently at Purdue University Vet Hospital, receiving intensive care including dialysis and blood transfusions. While Bruce's prognosis is bright and he is meeting the marks necessary to live, the treatments required to save Bruce are extensive and costly. His family is doing everything they can to provide him with the care he needs, but the financial burden is nearing $20,000.

Despite his illness, Bruce's spirit remains unbroken, a true Golden. His tail still wags, and his eyes still filled with love and hope. But he needs our help to overcome this obstacle!
