Golden Karate punches up-Provincials here we come!

Golden Shotokan Karate Club is off to Vancouver this March for the first post-Covid Provincial Tournament. For most this will be their first event of this magnitude in a big city, with more talented kids than we even have children in Golden. This event is a real eye opener for our kids, about how big the world is outside our small town and how much talent exists out there. The result is that these kids return from these events with an invigorated spirit and an infectious enthusiasm for achieving excellence.

These events are costly for families to drive to and from Vancouver, as well as accommodations and food for families. The benefit to our community is great as these kids return as role models full of character which will spread to their peers and enhance our town. Any support financial will be greatly appreciated and the value will be returned to you and this community with the spirit of our youth aiming high. Thank you!
