Golden Globe Race 2022- Elliotts Race fees

Hello, My name is Elliott Smith and I have an opportunity to become the youngest person to literally sail around the world in the 2022 Golden Globe Race!
For those of you who don't know anything about this race, it is a Solo, Non Stop - around the world sailboat race that allows only technology previous to 1970s. (No use of gps, satellite phones, digital cameras, ipods or phones, or even a CD haha for 30,000 miles, which can take up to 300 days at sea). https://goldengloberace.com/ggr/ for more info.
Why am I entering such an absurd and brutal sounding race? I have of course many reasons and motivations I will elaborate on elsewhere on elliottskipper.com .. But for now I will say this; my whole life I have read and listened to countless inspiring stories of beauty, adventure, sorrow and hardships. Often I have found myself privileged enough with the opportunities to have my own epic stories and tales. I am greatful for this. But to be honest this race scares the hell out of me, and I hope that with my decision to race, I will again have the opportunity to feel and understand a bit more of the extremes of the human experience without the increasing distractions of everyday life and all of our comforts that come with technology. And with that, i hope great stories arise and inspire others to step out of their comfort zones and to be more present in our Joys as well with our strife.
Although this may be a singlehanded race. I can not do any of this without help. The cost of this race is supposed to be reasonable , But mainly due to high costs of insurance, medical supplies, food, marine parts and all the repairs i have done, and the expensive safety emergency gear required adds up to a ton..
I am asking for any help to make this dream a reality. Potential sponsor leads, encouraging thoughts and prayers, a helping hand getting the boat ready, spare gear, sharing with your friends and family, 20, 100 bucks, anything at all will be more then appreciated.
