a young man’s "innocent" obsession turns sinister as he battles his conception of entitlement upon meeting a mysterious damsel in the woods.

Two young artists and filmmakers from Toronto are on a mission to create a 20-minute 1930s horror short film that explores the performance of masculinity and its consequences. Our names are Raffa and Hope. We are currently in pre-production for Golden Boy and plan to shoot the first week of August. Although the film is set in the 1930s, its themes remain more relevant now than ever. Its creation requires a lot of work and budget, especially since we are working within a limited timeframe. We are asking for your help to make this production the best it can be.

Funding will go towards costuming, equipment, safety regulations on set, transport, Locations, and a quality end product.
