It’s getting close to Christmas and we all have plans and traditions. Sometimes friends are going through so much that even their favorite holiday might be hard to face. 

Many of  you know Mike, Sherri, Bailey, and Seamus Donahue. I admit I came to know them fairly recently and wish I  knew them while they all lived in Lynchburg. I’ve come to admire this family and their strength as they endured Mike being KIA in Afghanistan in 2014.

Now they are facing another tough blow as Sherri is fighting breast cancer. You have two amazing young people that already have  faced the loss of their dad in the worst way possible and now the fear of losing their mom is real.

Sherri has a long, hard fight to go and it’s a weary road to travel. Anyone that knows Sherri knows she LOVES Christmas! This year after chemo and possible surgery soon, Christmas is going to be a little harder to fully enjoy. So I’m needing some help to add some Pixie Dust to their holiday!

We are using our Disney  discounts and other things to plan an economical SURPRISE trip for Sherri and the kids to Disney. We are looking for friends and family that might want to share a bit of the magic and bless them this Christmas to make this happen. Money raised will cover a 5 night/6 day stay at Disney’s Art of Animation resort, tickets to all 4 parks, dining for their entire stay, and if enough is raised round trip airfare. No matter how little or big you can give, every penny will be used to give them the most magical Christmas possible!
