I’m reaching out with a heartfelt plea to support my dear brother, Gokul Nagaraj N V, who is currently battling End-Stage Chronic Kidney Disease (IgA Nephropathy) — a serious autoimmune disorder that has severely affected his kidneys.

Gokul’s condition was diagnosed in May 2022 after a biopsy and started doing Hemodialysis at PSG Hospital (Reg. No: I23012516 / O22028204) Coimbatore. Since February 2024, his life has been sustained by hemodialysis three times a week at CIPACA – Hindustan Hospital(Reg no. 2401591), Coimbatore. Despite all our efforts, his condition continues to demand intensive care and constant medical attention.

Now, the only way forward is a kidney transplant.

The estimated cost for the surgery, including post-operative care, is between Rs. 15 to 20 lakhs (~$18,000 - $24,000). We are doing everything we can, but the financial burden is overwhelming.

We are currently spending Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 (~$360 - $480) every month on dialysis and medications alone. With the upcoming transplant, the medical expenses will drastically increase — and we cannot do this alone anymore.
