Young Lady Shows Her True Grit Only to Be Knocked down by Life

This is Adia Piluk a waitress, server, bartender from South Carolina she’s a commoner like you and I, much to her dismay she works to live. Recently she’s found out that life can really hit hard and often times its not fair fight.  Much like the rest of us she’s in the second round (her 20s) has been punched in the face.

Her back story is one that many of us have heard before, the only catch is that through all of the turmoil that has been in her life molded her into a young woman with so many questions that didn’t have answers until now. She understands that each jaw breaking punch is reality, its life and it hurts.

From a young age her path was set to have happiness be extinguished by each event in her life, a parents failed marriage, no REAL father figure, an abusive POS stepfather, custody battles, court hearings, police involvement, rejected by the US Navy, etc., etc., etc. Overall she was almost lost in the tangled knot of existence, droning on to her 9 to 5 rinse and repeat. Adia, now fighting like a wild animal knowing that everything goes and her fight is for a decent life and not some joke.

So, at 21 and after 1 year Adia has had tremendous fortitude establishing herself in collage, moved out of her mothers home to seek the life that she wanted, a great friend that took her in; in her time of need, works her ass off, established healthcare, received her driver’s license, established insurance, created a budget to keep herself on track, had the initiate to seek out and pay her own insurance.

With all of this now under control she has formed a decisive plan to have herself moved in her own apartment on March 1st then BAM uppercut to the chin (car accident with her only means of transportation GONE).  With all of these event taking place she is now in the process to finally get a car that she can respect, afford, and as we know keep her financially sound. She has learned to put trust into her father and (step) mother for life advice and to seek out sound wisdom from those who love her.

Adia was involved in a accident that totaled her car, reset her effort to square one and as you know drained her account to a measly balance of almost nothing. All in all she has accepted her fate, but with this hurdle it has bruised her ego, but more than that may have the teeter-totter affect and could push her back into a clouded life.

And I'm her father, after a life of not so good decision that I have made I’ve saw that less than average life Adia has led. Due to my failed 1st marriage, Adia was left without ME the only father that has loved her through it all. My hands have been tied for so many years with legal and custody battles, all of my influence is now breaking though the defensive exterior and an emotionally broke interior. She has opened up to Kim and I in a way that we wish we could have had when she was a beautiful young child.

These donations will go to Adia first and foremost to purchase a reliable car, then onto paying for an affordable safe apartment. Lastly, to provide her with some ass kicking self-preservation classes in her choice of discipline. Now more than ever she needs her loved ones.  I only ask not for pity, but show this young woman that you care about her, when time are tough, she can rely on those closest to her in a time of need.  Most of all if you love America and can donate a few dollars we would greatly appreciate it.
