Hi, my name is Steph, and I’m over two years into recovery from addiction, something I’m deeply proud of. The road hasn’t been easy, but every single day I’ve worked hard to build a better life, to prove to myself and others that change is real and lasting.

For the past two years, I’ve put my heart and work ethic into helping a friend grow his business. I trusted him completely, giving my time, energy, and loyalty , because I believed in both the work and the friendship. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that not everyone shares the same heart.

After building his business ,helping with food cost taking loss after loss labor wise, I found myself manipulated, underpaid, and ultimately unpaid for my efforts. When I finally stood up for myself and said I couldn’t keep working for free, I was given just eight days to find a new place to live(employer/landlord).

It’s been a humbling moment, but I’m determined not to let this break me. I’ve come too far in my recovery and growth to give up now. I’m not asking for pity just a bit of help to get through this transition: to secure a safe place to stay, cover basic expenses, and get back on my feet while I find honest work with people who value integrity. I have done research and I’ve landed on Clearwater fl (I am in Orlando as of now) Clearwater has the best climate, laws and resources if things do not fall into place for a while, I have been a Chef for 22yrs and Clearwater also has work available but unfortunately 8 days just isn’t enough time to solidify employment

Every dollar helps, and every share matters.
Thank you for believing in second chances — and for helping me keep moving forward toward a stable, self-sufficient, and honest future. P.s. I am understanding of my aesthetic and how mentioning recovery may have some stigma around it , if you would like to see my character and how important my recovery is I run a recovery page on tik tok. My handle is @GenerationalBrandRisk (I hope you find the humor in the name and understand it is satire)

With gratitude,
Stephen
