Going Forward With A Positive Future

I recently had a seizure leading to a car accident.

I honestly don't remember much about the incident beyond leaving the house and feeling fine and suddenly waking up in the emergency room and spending a night in the hospital for observation and testing.

Over the next day and a half, I went through a battery of tests, saw and spoke with multiple specialists, had several MRI scans and was prescribed medicine to be taken as part of my daily routine.

After being discharged from the hospital, I already have numerous follow-up medical appointments scheduled, each with another specialist and each expensive in their own right and bills coming in daily the least expensive of which has so far been $550 dollars.

Right before this incident, my company announced a major budget cut and significant upcoming layoffs starting May 4th making it look very likely that on or about May 4th I'll be unemployed.

The accident, the growing medical bills and other related mounting debts growing to be as much as student loans, is leaving me very concerned about how I will have enough money to pay the bills as they come in and as to how to continue to support my feline family.

Even with excellent health coverage through my current employer, there are still substantial out-of-pocket expenses needing to be paid from items the insurance won’t cover.

I mentioned one bill of bills being $550 so far, I also have several medical follow-ups scheduled each of which I've been quoted a 'discounted rate' of around $1,000 per test and visit.

I am very, very worried.

I honestly don't have the money to pay these bills, I don't have the money to come close to paying the bills.

So as I sit here stroking Townie’s head, I think of the certainty of the upcoming layoffs, of how each day the bills keep coming in and my medical debt keeps growing, of how I also need to find some way to replace my transportation so I can stand a chance of getting work wherever it may be after layoffs and I worry about having enough to support my feline family who are truly my lifeblood.

This is one of those times I am truly in need of help and thank you all for helping in any way possible in contributing even a small amount or just spreading the word to others who can assist me in paying down the medical debts and in ensuring there is money to care for my feline family.
