Donation protected
COVID-19 may have put a stop to the 2020 Coolangatta Gold, but it won't stop Warilla's Craig Burke who is determined to complete arguably the countries toughest endurance events, but this time, he's not doing it for a time.
Raising funds for The Man Walk and The Mental Health Movement , Craig will be travelling from Wollongong Harbour to Kiama Harbour on Sunday 6 December as he prepares to ski, board, swim and run the 40km distance in support of men's mental health.
It is expected to take him around 4.5hrs to complete the gruelling open water course and he's welcoming anyone willing to join him for the experience.
Departing at 6am from Wollongong Harbour, Craig will paddle a ski to Warilla Beach and transition to his board and paddle to Shellharbour Beach. After swimming Shellharbour, he's back on the Ski to Minnamurra River where he'll lace up for the final leg and run to Kiama Harbour to finish.
