Hey guys!
My name is Stephen Kyle Bayot, and I am currently in my 4th year studying Civil Engineering at the University of the Philippines Diliman. Earlier this year (after a tough and selective application process), I was chosen to represent the Philippines as an exchange student at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Vancouver, Canada! This semester-long exchange program will start in January 2020, and I personally cannot wait for this awesome opportunity!
We all know that as a college student with no steady paying job, it is incredibly challenging to raise support all on your own. With that, I am writing this to hopefully raise funds for my time at UBC! Funds raised here will go towards airfare, my day-to-day expenses (food, transportation, buying warm clothes for the winter, etc.), and on-campus housing. Vancouver can be a pretty expensive place to live in, so I would love ANY help I could get to make it happen!
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity; by partnering with me in this endeavor, you are opening up many opportunities for me to see the world and to become a successful Civil Engineer! No amount is too small, and any help would mean the world to me!
Again, thanks so much for taking the time to read this, and thanks in advance for your support!
