Going blind, going broke and getting divorced - struggling

Hi, I’m Monique. I’m going blind from Stargardt's Disease, and my vision has been declining rapidly over the past year. At the same time, I’m going through a painful divorce and I'm trying to hold everything together while rebuilding my life from the ground up.

Because of my disability, I can’t work full-time, and my income is very limited. My ex and I shared finances during our relationship, but since separating, that support has been cut off without warning. I’m now facing serious financial stress while trying to cover basic living costs (rent - $1600/mo., bills - $350/mo., and transportation) and legal fees ($5000 so I can protect myself in the divorce process.

I’ve applied for legal aid and disability resources, but these systems move slowly, and I need support right now to bridge the gap.
