I’ve been talking about shaving my head one day for years.

One day when I feel brave enough.

One day when it means something.

Well that day is today.

For my 29th birthday, I didn’t want cake or candles or another excuse to party. I wanted to do something symbolic, something that felt true to who I am right now. Shaving my head is something I promised myself I’d do a personal rite of passage, a letting go, a clean slate.

But this isn’t just about me going bald for the plot.

This is about choice.

I get to choose to shave my head. I get to decide when, how, and why. So many women and children don’t get that choice. losing their hair to chemo or alopecia, often alongside fear, grief, and a loss of identity.

That’s why I’m using this moment to give back.

I’m raising funds to create 10 high-quality wigs for women and children who’ve lost their hair due to medical reasons.. wigs that help them feel like themselves again, even when so much feels out of their control.

Hair isn’t “just hair.”

It’s confidence. It’s expression. It’s a sense of self.

If my bald head can help someone else feel seen, strong, and beautiful, then it’s more than worth it.
