My name is Nebiyou Bekele, from Ethiopia. I moved to the land of opportunity many years ago with hopes of a better life. Once I landed in the U.S I strive for productivity in order to make a future for myself, a future I could only dream back home. To achieve my goal, I focused on working tirelessly and have never had to rely on governmental incentives. Unfortunately, at the turn of the year 2019 I was chronically ill and went through multiple hospitalization periods that I had to endure. I ended up losing my housing privileges and lived in my car for 2 months with no access to proper medical care. Moreover, the constant lack of medical care led me to another critical surgery which landed me in rehab center since September 2020. At this point in my life, I have regained my health and would love nothing more but to be back on my feet again, in doing so all I need is some assistance to access basic needs in order to leave rehab and integrate with society once more. Your help, no matter how small will be greatly appreciated.
