Going alcohol free to save more animals !

As many of you know I run Flori's Friends Rescue. I take care of around 30 animals a day, run the charity office, take all the calls, participate in the vet runs etc the list is ENDLESS. I work 7 days a week 12 hours a day and the only break I get is at the very end of the evening with my red wine.

The bills at the rescue have been astronomical the past couple of months so I am giving up evening wine (and any other alcohol) in hope this will help clear some bills. Those of you who know me know this is NOT GOING TO BE VERY FUN for me but I love all the animals so much that we take in each week so much I will happily drink water instead to ensure we can cover the remaining vet bills

It can be very overwhelming when I think about all of these animals care and well being is solely reliant on the general public, if you guys stop donating, we stop helping…sadly all the hard work in the world won’t keep the animals alive, the cash for the vet bills does! I know many of our supporters are wonderful and are always helping us but it just has not been enough this past month so this is the best I could think of as I refuse to jump out of a plane (if I died who would clean all the bums!!). Thanks so much for taking the time to read this and please just consider giving just £1! we have so many thousands of followers and if you all just gave £1 I can go back to drinking wine and helping even more animals.
