Per questa ragione il Collegio dei Maestri Venerabili della Lombardia del Grande Oriente d'Italia vuole essere a fianco di tutte le donne e gli uomini di buona volontà che sentono il desiderio di scendere in campo con azioni concrete, con gesti che sappiano cogliere la gravità e l’unicità di questo momento.
Il Collegio dei Maestri Venerabili della Lombardia ha deciso di avviare una sottoscrizione pubblica aperta a tutti coloro che condividono il nostro desiderio di affrontare subito e insieme l’emergenza sanitaria e poi, una volta superata, di finanziare la ricerca per debellare il COVID-19.
Perché diciamo "per l’emergenza, oltre l’emergenza"? Abbiamo l'incrollabile certezza che dall’emergenza usciremo ma occorre saper pensare anche al "dopo", a come debellare questo virus, e questo lo può fare solo la Scienza.

At this crucial moment for Lombardy and for Italy we feel the desire to “be there”, to do our part to the end, as it has always been in the tradition of the Freemasons.
For this reason, the College of Worshipful Masters of Lombardy in the Grand Orient of Italy wants to be at the side of all women and men of good will who feel the desire to take the field with concrete actions, with gestures that know how to grasp severity and the uniqueness of this moment.
The College of Worshipful Masters of Lombardy has decided to start a public charity open to all those who share our desire to deal immediately and together with the health emergency and then, once overcome, to finance research to eradicate COVID-19.
Why do we say "now and beyond the emergency"? We have the unshakeable certainty that we will emerge from the emergency but we must also know how to think about “after", how to eradicate this virus, and this can only be done by Science.
Who, together with us, will participate in this subscription will help finance a concrete and immediate action (the purchase of beds for the intensive care units of the Hospitals of Lombardy and an ambulance) and will support, together with us, the research team of Luigi Sacco Hospital in Milan, in the trenches in the fight against coronavirus.
