"Dear friends:
♥ On behalf of Zahra and her family, thank you for all your healing thoughts, calls & your concerns.
A few weeks ago Zahras dog, who was suffering from PTSD and had recently been attacked himself, attacked her and almost bit off her thumb. She went into emergency surgery to reattach it in hopes she could keep her whole thumb. Unfortunately she went into a second surgery last week to remove the top half of her finger which did not recover. So far the she is in healthy recovery and is optimistic.
This fund was created to call out to you to step up with us, so that collectively we can help her to face the financial difficulties she has now. She had no insurance at the time of the tragic accident, all her savings went to pay doctors and medicine.
Though the injury has made it so that she is not able to work with her hands while she recovers, she was not granted temporary disability. Zahra will be unable to work for a while.
She faces a possible third surgery, and rehabilitation to learn how to use her hand. It will take time for her to regain confidence and rebuild her life in the future.
We decided to reach out to all of her family & friends, hoping that between all of us can help her make this healing time easier for her.
If you could please send her as little as $10 as or as much as you want, between all of us collectively can help her. Your donations will go to helping her pay what is not covered by insurance, as well as basic needs while she is in recovery over the coming months.
Many small donations could amount to a big help. Please feel free to reach out & share with your communities, friends, churches, wherever you can so that we can raise some money to help her.
