3 days before the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade I sent to print some posters of a skin-toned plaque with the date January 22nd, 1973, the day the Supreme court granted women the right to decide for their own bodies. In 2020 in the wake of the BLM movement and the rise of hate crimes against Asians, I made this plaque and 24 more with landmark civil rights dates. Recently I painted 9 more related to Asian American rights with the sponsorship from the Center for Humanities, CU Boulder. In the Fall I will go to Colorado to organize a community art action protesting Asian hate. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward the art action in Colorado as well as the Bay Area and Sacramento. See the website: Right on for more information. Let's get back on track by supporting art actions that educate. Please show your support for equity and justice for all and donate anything you can $5, $50, $100, $500 to our $10,000 goal by August 15, 2022. Listen to the KQED short segment on the project.
