Emergency Fundraiser for Patrick Nemec

Hi all,
We know 2020 has been a tough year but we need your help. Our dear friend Patrick Nemec was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer just before the pandemic hit and has just finished 6 weeks of intensive chemotherapy and radiation. "Patty" is a warrior, he’s in good spirits and still somehow cracking jokes but he's extremely weak and suffering from chronic, often intolerable pain. He has no health insurance, is incurring thousands of dollars of medical debt and is living off the remains of his EDD unemployment money.
No one should be having to worry about rent while they're fighting for their life but unfortunately, Patty hasn't been able to work since his diagnosis and needs financial assistance. A group of us have come together to support him in this critical time, we are raising money so he can focus on the most important thing: healing.
If you know Patty, you love him, he's always been adventurous, funny and loyal. He was a gifted athlete — one of the soccer and baseball stars of our class, and an avid motocross, car and jet ski enthusiast. Patty is also a talented mechanic, who has spent his recent years working on high-end German cars. We're hoping with the help of the community, Patty can get back to the active life he enjoyed before this disease.
We've connected him with a plant medicine nurse named Kelli Love who has helped nurture other cancer survivors back to health with her nutritional, health and recovery support. Patrick has noticed a significant shift in his energy and well-being over the past week of her support. We are committed to providing him with Ms. Love's continued nutritional support, in addition to raising funds to help Patrick with his medical bills, rent and other basic needs.
We realize that many are struggling financially and otherwise during these times. Any contribution you can make to support Patrick in his recovery would be greatly appreciated. We will provide you with updates on how he is doing and how the money is being used to support him.
