Raise money to save my baby Bonnie

As most of you may know by now whilst I was on vacation, my dog was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disease called myasthenia gravis. 

It is a disease that has many complications, one of them being megasophagus which is what she’s currently dealing with. As a result of her enlarged esophagus she now has aspiration pneumonia which is a life threatening condition. 

I never wanted to ask anyone for money but I have already spent most of my savings trying to keep her alive long enough to fight this awful illness so I am just starting to get desperate at this point.

My baby is only 6 years old, she has so much more time to live and I can’t bare the thought of her having to be euthanized just yet when she has so much fight left in her.

She is currently hospitalized in the ICU at TVEH in Scarborough. She is being fed through atube, receiving oxygen and being closely monitored on an ECG machine. 

Even though she’s covered in tubes she still wags her tail and gives kisses to me and my mum and fellow visitors that come to see  her. She has so much will to live and I want so desperately to give her the fighting chance she deserves.

Anyone that knows me knows that this dog is my entire life, I don’t know what I would do without her and it’s breaking my heart seeing her battle this but I know that she’s strong enough to get through this pneumonia. She just needs time. 

Bonnie is the most affectionate and loving dog on the planet, she has taught me so much since I brought her home at age 19. She was myfirst big responsibility and even when life threw curveballs at me as a young adult I always made sure her happiness came first. I never gave up on her and she has never given up on me. She has brought me more joy than anything in the entire world and I would trade places with her if I could so I didn’t have to see her like this. This dog is my best friend, please help me help her.
