Paloma's Emergency Injury Vet Care

I spent the hours before sunrise this morning sitting in Blue Pearl pet hospital in Brooklyn waiting to find out if little Paloma was going to be okay. She is so strong, a rescued stray who beat the odds of surviving longer than 3 days back in August, and she has grown so much since then. But she is still only a small kitten and now she needs some good energy, hope, and help again.

Paloma is currently being monitored in an oxygen cage at Blue Pearl, she is receiving fluids and pain medication. She needs blood work and x rays to keep an eye on injury to her lungs that is restricting her breathing. She is being hospitalized for 24 hours. All of this is helping to keep my girl going and work to get her stable and it is necessary. But it also costs a lot more in veterinary bills then I have the means to cover alone.  I am looking at upwards of $4,500 dollars.

Blue Pearl requires up front payment at the time of discharge and no payment plans. I am casting out a net for any help in paying for the care this kitten needs. I want to give her her best shot. Please help any way you are able. A few dollars. More than a few. A spell. A prayer.
