The Japheth Roberts Foundation

We've lost a good one! That's the only way I can start this story. 

Mr Japheth Roberts, our very own University of Cambridge graduate, Conservationist, a man after Gods own heart, a man who devoted his life not only to the church and everyone around him but to the youth and young people all around the world. From leading Sabbath school classes to facilitating afternoon programmes with controversial topics at church (and boy was Japheth controversial); with topics such as religion vs culture in marriage. He was the voice that bridged the gap between the parents and the youth and he is indeed going to be missed by so many of us. 

There was never a time you did not see Japheth with a smile on his face despite all he went through. An angel on earth, that is what we call him now because with a heavy heart we lost our Angel on the 16th of March 2020 to Lung Cancer.  

The family of Japheth and all those who loved Japheth dearly from all around the world would love to have your support in raising money for a cause very close to Japheth's heart; young people and education. Even in his last days his thoughts were on the young people everywhere. Japheth wanted to start an Education fund to help support every young person throughout their educational journey and beyond.

This GoFund me page is to continue his legacy and build on his passion. The money will be used to:

- Launch the JaphethRoberts.org website where we will be able to support young people transitioning from Secondary School to College/Sixth Form and then onto Apprenticeships/Vocational Classes/Creative Arts & Media/University as well as a platform to share loving memories of our Angel (This is an ongoing project). 

- Raise money to help support his wife Ellen Roberts and family; to support those who have been affected by Cancer; whether that includes loosing someone to cancer; whether you know someone who is battling with Cancer or survivors who have beat cancer!
