Belinda needs our help to fight Breast Cancer



So who am I you might ask? My name is Brooke and I am one of a large army supporting Belinda as she is our best friend. Our beautiful BC aka Belinda Cain was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in February and started treatment in March 2018.

Belinda is one of the most independent hard working, career focused single mum's we have ever met. Belinda works so hard for her three boys and raises them solo while having a high pressured job and she still manages to do life easy. That was until this shock diagnosis came along... even after aggressive treatment regimes she is so selfless and always puts others before her.

Due to the intensive treatment regime required Belinda was forced to make the heart breaking decision to give up work and focus on her health and treatment. Whilst Belinda's workplace has supported her as much as they possibly can there is no money coming in and she has exhausted all of her savings. This is where Belinda's pride and ego has to be lost and accept our help.

Belinda's most recent results in November showed some improvement, however reality set in that the fight is far from over. Belinda will need a full mastectomy and lymph node removal hopefully in the next few months providing the tumours have gone.

Belinda has a common breast cancer that most of the treatment has been funded by medicare other than her monthly meds that cost her around $500 a month. Belinda has spent all of her savings and needs some assistance to ensure she knows where her next mortgage payment will be coming from and being able to afford reconstructive surgery when the time comes.

We know our BC will beat this but not without a huge fight. What we would like to achieve here is to make Belinda's life just that bit easier, giving the gift of less worrying and stress.

One thing Belinda definitely wanted to be added in here is "If there are any un used funds they will be donated to another go fund me page for someone in a similar position".
