Zachary Stever was diagnosed with Stage III, Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma on Nov 12, 2019. We are reaching out to the community for support as his family, including parents, Eric and Stefanie and older sister, Makenna, 19, supports Zach as he battles this rare type of Lymphoma.
Zach turned 17 in October. He is a fun-loving, generous and caring guy who has maintained an unbelievably cheerful and positive attitude through this process. His favorite things to do are play his guitar, (very loudly!), drive his little black Honda Del Sol and spend time with his friends. During his elementary and junior high years, he loved playing flag football, (which Eric helped coach), roller hockey and rugby. He is now a junior in high school and has been focused on The Robotics Team and his college prep academics. We know Zach has a bright future!
He started his first round of chemotherapy on Nov 15, which will last 11 days. After which, he and his parents will travel to Stanford Children’s Hospital every three weeks for 5 inpatient days of chemo. His treatment plan is a total of six cycles lasting approximately 5 months.
Whatever funds are raised will go to co-pays, deductibles, and other medical expenses, including unplanned hospitalizations or any complications that may arise. As well as, hotels, gas, and food as the family makes the four-hour trek to Stanford for the next 5 months.
Please join us in supporting and rallying behind this family! We have faith that Zach can beat this. Your contributions and prayers are appreciated!
