Hello Friends and Family,
On Thursday, August 19, 2021, Casey, her two son’s Troy and Tony, and her unborn daughter Ruth Lee were on their way home from Twin Falls, ID. This was a normal daily drive for them until the unthinkable happened, they were involved in a horrific head-on collision. Casey (with Ruth), and Troy were airlifted to a trauma hospital in Boise, ID. and Tony was taken to a near by hospital by ambulance. Both Troy and Tony were not badly injured because they were properly buckled in but just have to heal from bad bruising due to the seatbelts. They both are struggling mentally because of the accident and will be going to see counselors to help them get through the tramatic memories of the accident. Casey, on the other hand, suffered two broken hips, a broken pelvic, a shattered ankle, a broken tibia, and a broken clavicle that had to be surgically repaired. Ruth, who was still warm in her mommy’s tummy was initially thought unharmed because her heartbeat was strong, but as hours passed it weakened and it was discovered that the placenta had become detached due to the impact of the crash. At that point, Ruth’s heartbeat was undetectable, and she passed away that evening. The next morning, Casey was forced to give birth to her stillborn baby with all her injuries unrepaired. Later, Casey endured multiple complex surgeries to repair her broken bones. Now, she must go into a rehabilitation center to gain strength and learn to walk again. Due to current circumstances, Albert and Casey must pay their health insurance out of pocket. They both must learn to move on and live without their daughter and these hospital bills have stacked up and they need financial assistance to continue their healing journey. We ask, if you are so led, please donate to help our family during this difficult time. We thank you for your love and support.
With love,
