Saving Daniel. A journey to Johns Hopkins.
Donation protected

Hey y’all! I met Daniel in January of of this year when I became employed as his nurse. He is a sweet young man that loves music, his family and Duke basketball!
Daniel was involved in a car accident in 2017. He sustained severe trauma to his brain and because of his injuries parts of his skull had to be removed. This year has been full of miracles! One day he just “woke up”. He started moving his hands and legs and soon he was trying to talk! His mind is now fully awake. He understands his situation and is doing his best to remain hopeful for a full recovery.
Unfortunately because Daniel is missing parts of his skull he is unable to proceed with the rehab he needs, he is unable to talk or eat because his facial muscles have no bones to attach to and he is unstable physically to enjoy simple things safely- like sitting in the sun or car rides with his family. Short and simple, Daniel needs cranial reconstruction.
Dr. Chad Gordon of Johns Hopkins Hospital is confident he can help Daniel. However he is over 400 miles away.
This is where you come in! Daniel needs a van that can safely transport him to multiple out of state appointments, surgeries and rehabilitation. His family needs help with travel expenses as well.
ANY DONATION WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
Let’s get Daniel some bones and back on his feet! Thank you for reading, sharing and donating! We are so grateful!
