Old Tiffinians RFC road to Minneapolis

UPDATE: After smashing our fundraiser and distance goal, the team have decided to make it a round trip! Another 6,447km - let's go After the death of George Floyd and the racial protests being witnessed in the USA, Old Tiffinians RFC is attempting a charity fundraiser for the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.  The team are aiming to complete the (virtual) distance from Kingston to Minneapolis, where George Floyd was killed on 25th May 2020.  The team will collectively travel the 6,447 km via walking/running/cycling etc. to raise funds and show solidarity with those suffering racial injustice across the country. These are huge goal posts but nothing compared to what those who've lost lives had to give. The funds will be donated to the Stephen Lawrence Charitable trust, who are a UK charity that inspire and enable young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds to succeed.
