Our LET'S BREATHE campaign continues to grow, right along with the need for hand-sewn masks for healthcare heroes. Our band of 70 volunteers in three states have distributed more than 8,000 masks in less than 2 months to nursing homes, elder care providers, clinics, tribal health centers, home health providers, and hospitals in 8 states.

QUALITY CONTROL
Our masks are consistent with CDC guidelines, easy to sew, durable, and comfortable to wear with 1/4" elastic ear straps. 

THE GOAL
We are halfway to our goal of $20,000 raised, which should pay for supplies for up to 20,000 masks.

We are keeping a running tally of funds raised and how they are used. I am using my business bank account, so donations are not going into anyone's personal checking account. GOFUNDME FEES
To sustain its operations, GoFundMe will take a 2.9% processing fee, plus $0.30, per donation. Having spent decades in the nonprofit sector, I can say that this is a very reasonable service fee.
