Sweet, strong Samson Robert entered the world on Monday 1/06/2020 weighing 7lbs 11 oz . Samson spent the first month of his life in the NICU at Masonic Children's Hospital at the University of Minnesota. Samson was born with Down Syndrome and two heart defects. One of the heart defects has resolved itself, but the major one is the Atrioventricle (AV) Canal Defect, which will require open heart surgery to repair on April 6th, 2020. Samson has already lived up to the meaning of his name “strength” and “warrior,” which Callie and Glenn picked before they knew of his diagnosis. As he moves toward his surgery, please keep Samson and his family in your thoughts and prayers. A financial contribution will help cover lost wages and medical expenses during this time. If you feel moved to offer financial support to the family as they turn their attention to Samson's care and recovery, please use this GoFundMe page to provide support for Samson Robert.
