It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved cousin JC. He passed away today at just the age of 37. It has been a tough year for him battling against cancer. JC was a fighter and fought till the very end, none of us thought that it was the end just yet. We would like to continue to ask for your prayers and donations. We truly thank you for any support you are able to lend at this time. All donations will not only go to his medical and funeral expenses, but it will also aid to the needs of his two-year-old son Javion that he left.

Again, we would like to thank each and everyone of you who has been a part of JC's journey here on earth, we wish you peace, blessings, prosperity, and all the love in the world. God bless

JC is a loving and caring husband to his wife, Madelyn, and they have been happily married for two years. Together they have a two-year-old son, Javion.

Before he was diagnosed, JC was a hardworking Sea-man, but only saw his family a couple of times a year due to the nature of his work out at Sea.
Sadly, on May 2021 while on the ship- was when he started to experience pain in his groin but did not have a chance to get it checked by a doctor during his work contract. When he finally was able to get clearance to leave the ship to see his family on June 25, 2021, he then was able to see a Doctor. The pain grew with time to where it became so excruciating that once a healthy man with a hard labor job  at sea, became fragile to where he could no longer walk. In August 2021, after further examinations, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells. In October, he was rushed to the hospital due to an infection.

JC is currently living in the Philippines and cannot work due to his cancer. It has been an uphill, challenging battle for the family to keep up with the medical bills due to the amount of chemotherapy, treatments, medications, the accumulated hospital bills on top of trying to still be able to provide a home  for his wife and his now, 2 year old baby.
Due to the financial crisis they are facing, he is unable to continue chemotherapy and also unable to accept the advised bone marrow transplant to aid in his treatment. Healthcare is very different in the Philippines compared to other places in the world. If you do not have the means, then you cannot receive treatment.
JC and his family face a crucial time and to survive, have been selling and raffling tshirts, water bottles, and whatever possible to help raise money for survival of not only JC but also for his wife and child.
It has been almost 1 year since and they are attempting to sell their own Home  to try cover medical & living expenses
With no reliable source of income, they can only rely on the help of family and friends, and now with this GoFundMe, are grateful to accept help from anyone willing.
Please pray for JC and his family. We believe that God will make a way by touching the people's hearts. We need your support, and your donation will mean the world to JC's family and us.
We hope to raise enough to get him the treatment he needs and hopefully the Bone Marrow Transplant he deserves.
He was able to find a match but was denied the life-saving transplant because of his situation.
Any amount or even just a prayer is greatly appreciated.  Thank you for reading.
